Old Navy was going pretty great on Friday until my husband realized he forgot that he needed to pick Liam up from school and had lent our car to a friend, so 13 minutes before school releases I had to leave all of my clothes and super cute accessories at the register and haul some major ass about 30 miles to pick him up. But when I got home there was a super cute card in the mail from my bestie in Arizona with a gift card for Old Navy! SCORE! So I go to the store near my house and they basically have nothing in stock in my size and no accessories.. So I came home empty handed again. Maybe the 3rd time is a charm!
Saturday I went to run my 11 miles about 1pm, which was a bad idea to begin with since it was about 85 degrees outside, but I headed out anyway. I was actually having a really great run and then at mile 5 for absolutely no reason I FELL, hard! I instantly started sobbing, called my husband to come and get me and really thought I had hurt myself. My right knee was pretty nasty, got home put some ice on it and hoped for the best. When I woke up Sunday, it wasn't stiff or hurting at all so I decided to go out and finish what I started and did the 6 miles I had left. Knee did not hurt at all, thank you sweet baby Jesus!
So Sunday was my 33rd birthday. My sister-in-law had scheduled a brunch for me with some of friends at Max's Harvest. If you live in or are visiting South Florida, I would highly recommend this place for brunch. First it's unlimited mimosas and bloody Marys, if that's not enough of a reason for you and you actually go to brunch to eat, this place is good for that too! They have a "farm to fork" theme, so every thing is fresh, organic and they have lots of gluten free options. I have never had a birthday like this before... My friends truly are the best and I am so thankful for all of these wonderful ladies that I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the last 3 years since I moved to Florida. I have to say that I am very thankful for my wonderful husband as well. Without him I would not have met any of these women and he took care of the kids yesterday so I could have a good day. So thank you to Ross, Gayle, Tonya, Brittany, Morgan, Ana, Jodie, and Katie for making this such a special day and a birthday to remember. Luckily for all of you ladies, I opened most of my gifts and cards at home and cried the whole time because I was so overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness and generosity of you all. Here are pictures of the days festivities.. keep in mind there was a lot of alcohol consumed, it might help the pictures make more sense! Happy Monday! I'm really bad at adding pictures on my blog, so they are all out of whack. Enjoy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
